ARGH!
It's crap!
The Wanderer Review by Dave "Marauder" Kratky, Mar 28.2001
You get up your hopes when you see something new......... (This is going to be really short guys, just not much to say about this POS.) You get your hopes all up... Ohhh... The expansion pack for Diablo 2! Not bothing to read the full box you eagerly grab it and scurry home to install it like a weasel with a fresh chicken carcass......... only to find..... It's nothing you didn't already have. It's crap. The Wanderer is basically just a crappy hint guide on a disk with a set of items, unique items, armor sets, as well as a few characters & editors to mess with. I don't know why it never occured to me that I could run around the internet picking up a items & armors and make myself a CD out of it using HTML for the menus and make tons of money on it.... Let me think....... Oh, that's right.... I don't like releasing GARBAGE products. The official hint guide cost less, and came with one HELL of a lot more useful tips and tricks. Didn't come with a CD admitedly, but as I mentioned you can get most of the tips and tricks from the web.... Heck, many of them even appear in the Diablo 2 manual... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... Oh, and good news... the menus don't give you the details on everything on the CD. Apparently you are supposed to go browse the CD manually and see what you can find. Argh. Damn those Germans. Damn them all to hell.
The final analysis Once again we learn not to trust the Germans. Ever. For anything. If you are playing D2 single player, and don't have Internet access (Which means you aren't reading this btw.) then it might be handy.. Otherwise.... go find some good items online, and download an editor. Crap crapity crap crap. This whole collection looks like something a coupla 13 year olds came up with one night and got published. I'll be burning the CD tomorrow.
